Who we are

Ashram Yatra is an informational website for the Ashram Yatra 2027 journey. It is built with simple PHP and does not use visitor accounts, comments or a visitor database.

Information we receive

If you contact us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and the information you choose to include in your message. The “why are you interested” field helps us understand your question and reply meaningfully.

We do not ask for special-category data, payment details or information that is not needed for this conversation. Please do not submit such information through the form.

How we use it

We use the information you send to answer your message, clarify details about the journey and, where needed, continue the conversation at your request. Messages are delivered to the project contact address and may pass through the email provider configured for sending.

We do not sell personal data, use it for behavioural advertising or build marketing profiles from enquiries.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and manage communication about the journey, then delete them when there is no practical or legal reason to retain them. In some circumstances, limited information may be kept to protect our rights or meet a legal obligation.

Cookies and external services

The site does not use visitor accounts, user sessions or its own analytics tool. The hosting provider may keep ordinary technical logs, such as IP address, access time, browser and requested page, for server security and operation.

For aggregated visit statistics, we use Statcounter. It helps us understand how the site is used and improve its content and operation. Statcounter may use cookies and similar technologies and may process information such as visit time, IP address, browser, operating system, device type and referring page. Some pages may load external services: fonts from Google Fonts, OpenStreetMap maps through Leaflet and an embedded video from YouTube. Your browser may communicate with these providers and receive content or cookies according to their own policies. If you prefer to avoid those connections, you can disable external content in your browser settings or avoid the relevant pages.
